Altstetten offers a wide range of leisure activities. For example, there is a gym, sports facilities, an indoor badminton court and a bouldering hall – all within walking distance of the ATRIO. The indoor swimming pool in Altstetten and the Letzigraben outdoor pool are in the immediate vicinity. The Letzigrund stadium has plenty to offer sports and music fans with football games, athletics meetings and concerts.
Recreation at your doorstep
If you want nature, you can find it: The Altstetter Wald (woods) or the Limmatufer (Limmat river bank) are just 15 minutes by bike from the ATRIO. You can reach the top of the Üetliberg in little more than an hour – or less by bus and train. The nearby Bachwiesen community centre is ideal for young and old with its park, playground and animals.
